Bold shift ahead: Stephanie Hirst takes over the Gambaccini slot on Greatest Hits Radio, expanding her reach as she moves from the 7th of March to the main station.
Introducing Spinnin’ the Decades, a brand-new Saturday show launching March 7, designed to bring Stephanie’s Spinnin’ format from Greatest Hits Radio to a broader audience. The program will spotlight chart-toppers from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and will dedicate a full hour to live listener requests performed straight from original 45 RPM pressings drawn from Stephanie’s own vinyl collection, delivered in real time. Alongside beloved hits, she’ll unveil rarities and lesser-known tracks from those decades.
This launch follows the confirmation that America’s Greatest Hits with Paul Gambaccini will end on Saturday, February 28. Stephanie shared: “What an incredible honor to follow in the footsteps of one of my broadcasting heroes, Paul Gambaccini. I’ll pour my heart into a show that Paul—and especially America’s Greatest Hits listeners—will love.” She added, “I’m also excited to share my vinyl passion with Greatest Hits Radio listeners.”
